The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will:
- Own sales results within their area of responsibility.
- Implement the brand strategy at the dealer level, ensuring overall sales success.
- Develop brand business within their geographical area.
- Utilise a consultative selling approach and understand dealership operations.
- Collaborate closely with sales personnel to meet sales targets.
- Manage and grow sales volumes for all products within the Massey Ferguson portfolio.
- Maximise sales and margins for MF products in the UK and Ireland.
Your Impact:
- Own sales results within your area of responsibility.
- Install and track Annual Business Plan Targets.
- Regularly review performance with dealers on various metrics.
- Identify root causes and corrective actions for lost sales.
- Enable dealer sales performance coaching.
- Support retail business and manage discount spend.
- Assist dealers in identifying future prospects and developing strategies.
- Monitor and forecast sales funnel and demand chain pipeline.
- Capture market intelligence and execute campaigns.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum education: Associates/Technical or bachelor’s degree.
- 4-5 years of business experience required.
- Sales skills and regional market understanding.
- Agricultural business knowledge and product knowledge.
- Competencies include strategic thinking, analytical work, prioritisation, trust-building, coaching, and brand passion.
