Senior Account Executive About the role
Working with a mix of SME & Corporate clients in General Commercial (Property, PI, Technology, Chartered Surveyors), Complex & High Value (HNW) insurance needs, the Senior Account Executive will be focussed on driving growth, generating and converting new business opportunities while retaining and developing existing clients.
Senior Account Executive Key duties
Sales & Business Development:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging networking, referrals, and market insights.
Develop strategic sales plans to target high-value clients with complex risk profiles.
Work closely with insurers to secure the most competitive and comprehensive terms for clients.
Achieve individual and team sales targets, driving growth within your portfolio.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture long-term client relationships through regular contact and on-site visits.
Act as a trusted advisor, understanding clients\’ evolving business needs and tailoring insurance solutions accordingly.
Conduct regular policy reviews and renewal discussions to ensure ongoing coverage alignment with risk exposures.
Deliver an exceptional client experience by being responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive.
Risk Management:
Collaborate with internal teams and insurers to develop tailored solutions for clients with complex needs.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging challenges, advising clients on potential risks and exposures.
Support clients in understanding their policy terms and conditions, ensuring clear communication of coverage.
Senior Account Executive Key requirements
Demonstrable experience as an Account Executive within the insurance industry, particularly in commercial insurance.
In-depth knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting processes.
Proficient in using insurance platforms (Acturis) and client management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Proven track record in generating new business and effectively managing client portfolios.
Strong understanding of compliance regulations, including FCA guidelines and Consumer Duty obligations.
ACII qualification or a willingness to work towards it, with business support.
