Insurance Accounts Technician – About the role
You will provide day to day support within the Insurance Reconciliation Team, who are responsible for reconciliation of multiple insurer accounts, using manual and automated matching techniques for accounts with a high volume of daily transactions.
Insurance Accounts Technician – Key duties
Reconcile insurer statements
Ensuring the completion of monthly reconciliations, along with research and follow through of unreconciled items for assigned accounts
Responsible for the identification, accounting and reporting of information related to reconciliations performed.
Adhere to the company’s or organisation’s financial policies and procedures
Answer questions and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed
Review financial transactions and reports within Acturis, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
Building relationships with internal & external customers
Communicating and interacting effectively with people at all levels
Ensuring adherence to policies, legislative requirements
Delivering first time right service excellence
Establishing and maintaining quality standards in respect of accurate advice and support.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective rapport with all levels of management, staff and external parties
