The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
To provide support and back up to Brokers within the relevant business division. To study insurance proposals to ensure Brokers have the appropriate information needed to service the client and market the business in a timely manner. This is a multi-functional role with each job holder having a wide range of experience including Binders, Open Market placements, Line Slips or Reinsurance contracts. Over time, the job holders will have dealt with the aforementioned types of placement albeit, individual experience will vary per specialty.
Key Duties Responsibilities
- Calculating premiums and processing entries on to our inhouse broking system.
- Produce credit/debit notes including calculating premium adjustments.
- Prepare accurate MRCs and MRCEs.
- Prepare cover notes, broker insurance documents, debit notes and premium adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records, including telephone conversations, work in progress, statistical data records either personally or through delegation to others.
- Respond to Technical queries and the processing of premiums and claims as required.
- Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain and update diary records in outlook and Global.
- Produce cover notes and debit notes and associated documentation.
