Account Handler – Commercial Insurance Job Market – Insurance Account Handler – Commercial Insurance – About the role As an Account Handler, you will provide quotations for New Business, Existing Business and Renewals to assist the Branch and be a referral point for the Trainees within the business. The role requires dealing with clients in the branch, over the phone and via e-mail to ensure sales and retention targets are maximised, through the provision of efficient communication & negotiation skills. Account Handler – Commercial Insurance – Key duties Provide top-notch customer service, efficiently handling new business, renewals, and existing policies. Master the processes for quoting and recommending the right products to meet client needs. Present clear, fair, and accurate product info to help clients make informed decisions. Calculate premiums according to carrier guidelines or collaborate with insurers for non-delegated business. Spot complaints and escalate them to the appropriate handler. Address queries via email, phone, and in person, ensuring all SLAs are met. Act as a referral point for trainees in the branch.
