Masse is a fast-growing SEO agency, offering our highly effective “Content at Scale” SEO campaigns to ambitious tech and healthcare companies.

We’re looking for a Health Writer to join our team and help us continue to produce best-in‑class content for our clients. You’ll write for 1 or 2 of our clients at any one time, learn their industry and company inside‑out, and contribute towards the inner workings of our growing business.

Our company is continually researching and exploring how to pair first‑class writing with innovative AI processes. We’re looking for a candidate who’s interested in how AI tech can aid the writing process and wants to help us create the most efficient, high‑quality content on the market.

We’re not trying to replace writers with AI. Instead, we use AI to create strong first drafts that our writers then refine with their expertise, fact‑checking, research, and industry knowledge. If you want to work with processes that let you focus on the high‑level work writers do best — making content the absolute best in its field — this role is for you.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Write up to 1 article per day
  • You’ll have access to our tried‑and‑tested AI writing process – We don’t start from scratch
  • You’ll edit articles to remove AI tropes like repetition and cringey introductions – You’ll add better language, better flow, make the language more casual, and apply the human touch
  • You’ll research the topic, fact‑check the content, and add in specific, useful knowledge
  • You’ll have full support from an editor to proofread, format, and ensure articles meet our standards

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Strong sense of what high‑quality, credible health content looks like
  • Proven experience writing about healthcare, medical, or wellness content
  • Understanding of medical terminology and treatment protocols
  • Familiarity with health content compliance (FDA guidelines, medical claims)
  • Ability to fact‑check clinical information against reputable sources
  • Able to make technical topics accessible and engaging for diverse audiences
  • Experience using LLMs
  • Prior experience working in an agency environment (an advantage)
  • Prior experience working fully remote (an advantage)
  • Prior experience working consistently to tight deadlines

Location: Fully Remote

Employment: Contract (Initial 3 months, with view to extend or make permanent)
