Job Summary:

Hours:
Must work Nights and Weekends (32-35 hours per week)
- Monday 3-9
- Tuesday 3-9
- Wednesday 3-9
- Friday 3-9
- Sunday 10-6
Compensation:
Starts at $50 per Service hour and increases to $70 per Service hour (Tiered growth). Hourly Service rate can increase to $60 per hour after the therapist is requested 70% for 2 months consistently (needs to work at least 25 service hours per week, nights and weekends). Hourly Service rate can increase to $70 per hour after the therapist is requested 85% for 2 months consistently (needs to work at least 25 service hours per week, nights and weekends). $35 per Management hour (up to 4 hours per week). Weekly rate $1,600-$2,450 plus gratuities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create a positive team environment.
- Directly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of back-end operations, including ongoing operations and management.
- Address and resolve all customer and team member concerns promptly.
- Create an environment that is passionate about providing guest service.
- Lead by example: achieve personal as well as team goals.
- Manage recruiting, interviewing and hiring of Massage Therapists aligned with the Lead Massage Therapist.
- Develop and manage Massage Therapist job postings. Screen, interview and assist with hiring MTs. Assess ongoing need for MT positions and continually develop a pipeline of therapists right out of school.
- Develop relationships with local MT schools. Represent at job fairs and nurture relationships to build a pipeline of therapists.
- Coach team members to achieve peak performance.
- Support Massage Therapists with bi-monthly team meetings to review retreat focus and growth areas.
- Support MT onboarding, including setting up system access and updates.
- Perform training for new employees and assess training for all MTs, including corporate policies and procedures.
- Train therapists on existing and upcoming Elevations; integrate into monthly meetings as appropriate.
- Implement creative skill training ideas.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of management/lead experience
- Highly motivated team-player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- People oriented with strong customer service and public relations skills
- Proven track record in achieving sales and service goals
- Working knowledge of computers and standard software
- Available to work varied hours/weekends, evenings, holidays, etc.
- Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution a plus
- Comply with local and state licensing laws and regulations
- Carry personal liability insurance
- Hold current New York state license to practice massage therapy
- Be guest service oriented and able to communicate effectively with guests
- Capable of at least deep tissue, Swedish and maternity massage modalities
- Be a team player
- Believe in regular massage therapy as part of a healthy lifestyle
- Pass background check
Note: Set up 4 hours of Management time available possibly 30 or 60 minutes spread over 4 shifts. Management hours are compensated at $35 per hour.
