Due to an internal promotion, the Winchester Public Library is seeking an energetic individual to perform all tasks associated with the loaning of library materials; interact with patrons and staff on the telephone, in-person, as well as electronically, in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to customer service, friendly, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with the public and being in the library environment.

Schedule: 19 hours per week and every third Saturday; Occasional Sundays (October - May) are optional but encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of college and one year working in a public library.
  • Complete familiarity with use of computers as well as experience with Innovative Interfaces (Sierra) or similar ILS.
  • A CORI is required for the successful candidate.
