Overview

The Town\’s Human Resources Office, on behalf of the Wareham Free Library, is accepting applications for the Library Assistant I Position. This position includes, but not limited to, charging and discharging books and materials at the circulation desk; answering and assisting patrons over the telephone, assisting patrons with locating and retrieving materials from library shelves, shelving and repairing library materials and performing other relevant duties as requested by the Library Director. Saturdays and some evenings are required.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent, prior library experience preferred. Experience dealing with the public desirable or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
