We are looking for an experienced ICT Operations Manager to lead the delivery, performance and continual improvement of IT operations and support services within a secure and highly regulated environment. You'll work closely with technical teams, service management colleagues and senior stakeholders to drive operational performance, manage risk and ensure services continue to meet both customer and organisational expectations. As IT Operations Manager, you will:Lead and develop teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.Manage operational risk, service issues, security and resilience activities.Oversee capacity planning and operational readiness for new services and changes.Use management information and performance data to support effective decision making and continuous improvement.Contribute operational expertise to future planning and long-term service sustainability. What we're looking forEssentialDegree-level qualification in an IT-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.Significant experience leading complex IT operations, infrastructure or support environments.Strong understanding of IT service management principles and operational governance.Eligible for DV clearance (UKEO)DesirableITIL Foundation certification or higher.Leadership, management or project management qualification.Experience leading operational transformation, automation or continual improvement initiatives.Commercial awareness and supplier management experience.
