Come and join our expanding Electronic Warfare Operations Support Group (EWOS) which is made up of 80+ electronic warfare specialists. From all manner of backgrounds, our engineers, scientists, and ex-military personnel combine their experience to help our customers achieve true operational potential and help keep their people and platforms safe.

Are you looking for a role that can design and build analogue RF circuits to integrate complex RF systems? Do you enjoy deploying and testing hardware models? This role will allow you to use your skills integrating and verifying novel conceptual, in-service, and legacy RF systems in a cutting-edge, first-of-its-kind synthetic range.

With the continual improvement in COTS RFSoC technologies and associated RF waveform performance, the proliferation through our synthetic range of these payloads will only increase. Combined with a drive for more synthetic trials to assure performance, train operators, and design tactics and procedures, this is an excellent growth area for your career.

Working full-time at our St Neots site, you will help deliver high-importance synthetic trials to a variety of government and industry partners, each with their own requirements to be verified. Your ability to ensure automated and repeatable solutions will greatly impact the success of these trials.

The invaluable experience you’ll bring, to help us achieve more.

  • Scaling and calibration activities to ensure synthetic environments are correctly represented to real-time HIL systems.
  • Experience writing test automation scripts for real-time systems (MATLAB, Python, LabView etc.).
  • Ability to solve problems in a methodical manner.
  • Experience using test bench equipment (signal generators, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, network analysers, power meters) to assure repeatable integration activities.
  • Generation of test harnesses for hardware model interfaces (Analogue RF, Digital IQ, TCP/IP, UDP, JTAG, UART etc.)
  • Familiarity with synchronisation and timing architectures.
  • Network debugging and fault-finding (package/port level).
