Join MASS at our Lincoln office as a Senior System Modelling Engineer and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge EW solutions. You’ll be helping to design, implement, and validate new capabilities, influence operational outcomes, and develop into a Subject Matter Expert within a high-performing, multidisciplinary team.
We are expanding our team to produce system-level simulation and analysis tools, which will help model and understand complex systems, assess their performance, verify and validate requirements, and help scope hardware and software implementation. This will be a pivotal role in a national defence capability programme, working closely with the team lead, technical leads, and the project Design Authority to ensure designs are able to deliver the required performance.
The models will involve aspects of physics, RF, kinematics, mathematics, optimisation, networking, and data analysis, so a broad ability and willingness to learn and apply scientific principles is crucial.
Led by our Principal Solution Architect, the team is based at our modern Lincoln HQ on Teal Park, typically spending three days in the office and two from home — giving you the best of both worlds: collaboration and flexibility.
The invaluable experience you’ll bring, to help us achieve more:
- As a thought leader, you’ll shape complex technical concepts from analysis through to delivery, applying your modelling and simulation expertise to help design and implement cutting-edge solutions for our customers.
- Coding experience (MATLAB/Simulink)
- Broad understanding across physics, engineering, mathematics, and data
- Experience in integrating heterogeneous models across different engineering disciplines
- Experience across the Engineering Delivery Lifecycle
