Role Overview

We're a technical consultancy, partnering with UK government on mission‑critical projects, and we're looking for an experienced senior business analyst ready to make a difference. You'll enjoy being part of a diverse team on a project like no other - continually refining your skills to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems in a dynamic and complex environment. You'll play a vital role in the implementation of UK defence policy, collaborating closely with industry‑leading technical experts and Ministry of Defence colleagues on assured delivery of this important national endeavour. As the only team in the country delivering this output, innovation is part of our DNA and we're always looking to push boundaries and deliver more for our customers - because we know how high the stakes can be. The role demands discretion and commitment; you'll need to work on site and maintain a high level of UK security clearance. You should be willing and able to travel occasionally within the UK and the USA; however, we understand the importance of a good work‑life balance, and along with a generous well‑being allowance and benefits package, we offer our team members a variety of flexible working options including a 9‑day fortnight.

Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience for a small team with responsibility for requirements, acceptance, traceability, and change documentation
  • Managing and working to defined standards and governance
  • Experience in engaging with and managing stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of business and data analysis methods
  • SQL query skills (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, PL/SQL)
  • Thorough understanding of process management and mapping
  • Operating within Agile Project Management
  • ITIL Framework Practitioner
  • MS Office products

Non‑negotiables:

  • A 2nd generation sole UK National
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government DV security clearance
