We are looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake work to maintain electrical system installations within our Corsham facility. As the appointed SME in High and Low Voltage Systems, perform as the main focal point for all electrical aspects (maintenance and repair) of plant and machinery on-site, ensuring all defects are rectified in a timely manner, keeping management fully aware of progress and challenges.
You will supervise the building management system, analysing control and monitoring information, to undertake and deliver facilities electrical engineering maintenance and repair. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing internal projects
- Control and maintain risk assessments
- Undertake PA Testing
- Carry out planned and reactive tasks (electrical and occasionally mechanical)
- Work a minimum of one maintenance weekend per month up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year
The qualifications and experience you'll bring to help us achieve more:
- C&G 2365 (levels 2 and 3) Electrical Installations or equivalent
- C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial)
- C&G 2377 PAT testing or equivalent
- Experience in repairs and maintenance of complex commercial electrical and MEP systems
- UK Driving Licence
- MOD Facilities Management experience
- Authorised Person Confined Space
- Microsoft Word/Excel
Due to the highly secure nature of the projects, you must be willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government SC security clearance.
