Our Corsham Facilities Management team are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our FM projects and the maintenance of the MOD facility.
How you’ll support us:
This is an opportunity to be part of a team where you will have the opportunity to utilise your existing skills and develop the skills of those around you. This role is based on the customer site with an on-call roster and occasional weekend maintenance, up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year.
You’ll undertake and assist with both electrical and mechanical inspections, assist with general maintenance, basic plumbing and general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
How your day will look:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Carrying project work as tasked by Supervising Engineers
- Ensure scheduled logbook activities are completed
- Work a minimum of one maintenance weekend per month up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year
The qualifications and experience you’ll bring to help us achieve more:
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance and Installation (Mechanical Systems Maintenance) or equivalent
- Previous experience with Facilities Maintenance
- General knowledge of safe isolation of electrical supplies/procedures
- Experience of using AutoCAD Essentials or equivalent applications
- The candidate must be eligible for a UK NSV Clearance.
- UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Microsoft Word/Excel
- C&G 2377 PAT testing or equivalent

- You must be a sole UK National
- Due to the highly secure nature of the projects, you’ll be working on, you must be willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government SC security clearance.
