Porton Down (SP4) - Perm - Full Time On-site

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE

Join MASS at Porton Down as an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer and play a key role in delivering cutting-edge EW solutions. You will be embedded directly with our technical customer, Dstl, helping to design, implement, and validate new capabilities, influence operational outcomes, and develop into a Subject Matter Expert within a high-performing, multidisciplinary team.

The invaluable experience you will bring:

  • Joining a large project in its early phases, you will be needed to gather stakeholder use cases and work together with a broad range of customers and colleagues to define User and System Requirements, and support the derivation of Design Specifications.
  • You will play a key role during deployment, providing hands-on support and guidance for design activities, using your Model-Based Systems Engineering expertise (UML, SysML, ArchiMate) helping turn concepts into operational solutions.

  • Systems Engineering
  • System Design Documentation
  • Defence Industry knowledge of EW systems
  • Test and acceptance of integrated systems
  • Experience across the Engineering Delivery Lifecycle
  • Requirements Management (DOORS/Enterprise Architect etc.)

Desirable:

  • Systems Modelling (UML/SysML)
  • Coding experience (JavaScript or MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Previous ex-Military experience with EW systems (operator, maintenance, support, or acquisition).
