MASS are looking for a driven and personable Bid Manager to support and motivate a growing bids team during an exciting period of growth. In the role, youll oversee the end-to-end bid process, managing everything from initial qualification through to submission, while ensuring every document reflects the highest quality standards.
In this role, you will be working closely with SMEs and sales colleagues across the business, translating their complex information into client focuses proposals. With a team of 5 already in place and a growing pipeline of complex bids, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact and progress within a consultancy thats committed to your development and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, management and completion of all bid submissions
- Collaborating with MASS colleagues to produce persuasive bids
- Supporting with opportunity planning activities across the business
- Managing the collation of content from SMEs
- Create and control bid schedules and resource plans
- Conducting appropriate governance in accordance with MASS guidelines
The qualifications and experience youll bring to help us achieve more:
- Minimum of 2 years Bid Management experience
- Excellent project management skills
- Expert use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Project
Desirable:
- Knowledge of supporting/leading pricing development
- Knowledge / experience of the Defence industry
- APMP Foundation certified (or equivalent)
