£40,000 – £50,000

We’re looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake work to maintain electrical system installations within our Corsham facility. As the appointed SME in High and Low Voltage Systems, perform as the main focal point for all electrical aspects (maintenance and repair) of plant and machinery on‑site, ensuring all defects are rectified in a timely manner, keeping management fully aware of progress and challenges
How your day will look:
- You will supervise the building management system, analysing control and monitoring information, to undertake and deliver facilities electrical engineering maintenance and repair
- Planning and managing internal projects
- Control and maintain risk assessments
- Undertake PA Testing
- Ensure all scheduled logbook activities are completed
- Carryout planned and reactive tasks (electrical and occasionally mechanical)
- Work a minimum of one maintenance weekend per month up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year
The qualifications and experience you’ll bring to help us achieve more:
- C&G 2365 (levels 2 and 3) Electrical Installations or equivalent
- C&G 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course (Periodic & Initial)
- C&G 2377 PAT testing or equivalent
- Authorised Person Low Voltage systems
- Experience in repairs and maintenance of complex commercial electrical and MEP systems.
- UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Authorised Persons High Voltage systems
- MOD Facilities Management experience
- Authorised Person Confined Space
- Microsoft Word/Excel
