We make premium beef jerky and meat snacks using just two ingredients: British and Irish grass-fed beef and pure sea salt.
No additives.
No sugar.
No nonsense.
We are a DTC brand selling across the UK, EU, Middle East and other regions currently.
At our core, we’re more than just a meat snack business. We’re not a product, we’re a movement - a return to real food in a world full of chemicals, fillers and artifice.
We're launching in the USA and building our production facility in Austin, Texas.
We'll be using gold standard grass fed, grass finished American beef and bringing in our amazing salt from Anglesey that we use in the UK.
The Role
We're looking for a Graphic Designer to take hands-on ownership of day-to-day design output at Mason's Meats, working closely within a small team where design, brand, paid and retention all sit in the same room.
The team already produces design work.
You're here to raise the standard of what goes out the door and make sure every asset is unmistakably Mason's Meats.
You'll receive briefs and copy for every project, and your job is to translate the brief into creative concepts, take ownership of the visual solution and execute them to the highest possible standard.
Founders and the team review all email campaigns and creative output directly before anything goes live; strong work that requires limited feedback can move quickly through approval.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Campaign Creative & Channel Adaptation - Develop creative concepts and adapt campaign assets across paid, email, website and organic social.
- Email & Flow Design - Design email templates in Figma for
Klaviyo: welcome flows, post-purchase, win-back, and campaign sends.
Every template must be precise and consistent with the brand.
- Paid Social Creatives - Produce ad creatives for cold, warm and retargeting audiences for platforms such as Meta and Google, static, motion, and UGC-overlay formats.
- Organic Social content - develop platform specific assets relevant to the brief and copy while staying true to Mason’s Meat’s visual identity.
- Brand & General Creatives - Packaging iterations, website content, and any other visual output the brand requires.
Requirements
- DAY-TO-DAY
- Receive briefs and copy and deliver precise, on-brand design ready for review
- Design emails for campaigns and flows
- Produce ad creatives across cold, warm, and retargeting formats and adapt creative for different platforms and placements
- Consistently apply the brand visual system — typography, colour, components, spacing.
- Design Shopify landing pages and sections for new drops, bundles.
- Proactively identify design gaps and bring solutions.
- Keep all assets named, organised, and delivered on schedule.
- Work with the wider team to understand creative and asset performance, using learnings to improve future creative.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced working with D2C brands with the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently
- Precise - every spacing, type, and colour decision is deliberate. Nothing is approximate.
- A brand guardian - the Mason's Meats visual identity is set. You apply it with rigour; you do not reinterpret it.
- Allergic to generic e-commerce aesthetics - you know what a default Shopify template looks like and you build nothing that resembles it.
- Creative thinker - you understand the brief, develop the right creative solution and bring the idea to life in a truly Mason’s Meats way.
- Fast to iterate - founder feedback is direct and frequent. You apply it quickly and move forward
- A team player - you work alongside people who already contribute to design output, actively support them, share knowledge, and help the whole team produce better work.
- This is a collaborative environment, not a solo role
- Not reliant on AI-generated imagery - we avoid it as a default. When it's genuinely the right call, it goes through approval before use.
- Figma-first - this is the preferred tool. Other design tools are considered if the work demands it.
- NICE TO HAVE
- Motion design / After Effects for ad and social formats
- Food, premium FMCG, or CPG brand experience
- Photography or art direction experience
- Competitive salary + performance related bonus
- Incredible opportunity to grow with Mason's Meats as we scale
- A dynamic, small-team environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.
- The satisfaction of being part of a company that prides itself on traditional craftsmanship.
- Graphic Designer • Crowborough, England, GB
