This position has responsibility for achieving parts sales, profit goals, inventory control, team management, pricing, merchandising, retail displays and promotions.
This position will suit an individual who is seeking Senior Leadership progression, with the aim of becoming Group Parts Manager within 1-2 years.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Lead the Parts Team to be respond proactively and ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Proactively drive parts volume growth and engage with our customers
- Recruit, train, motivate and support the performance of the parts team
- Lead sales efforts, including telemarketing, to keep in contact with customers and pro-actively sell.
- Ensure the same high-quality level of service provided to customers is also provided to internal dealership customers, by working with the Service/Workshop managers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts
- Maintain pricing parameters in each customer category whilst maintaining customer loyalty
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service/workshop and our customers
- Manage stock checks and adjust inventory to minimise obsolescence
- Analyse departmental operations and storage layout and revise as needed for maximum effectiveness
- Provide technical assistance and problem resolution to the Parts Department Team
- Manage customer complaints immediately and according to Masons Kings dealership’s guidelines
- Maintain professional appearance of retail areas, stores and the Parts Team
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven parts leadership experience, gained ideally in the agricultural and turf equipment environment however, related sector experience will be considered.
- Appraisal of staff, alignment of individual development needs with training provision.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiar with John Deere or competitive products.
- Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work extended in-season hours and occasional Saturdays.
