Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer for a skilled engineer to join their night shift engineering team. The Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance to keep operations running efficiently.
- Provide reactive and preventative maintenance across manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Maximise machine uptime, efficiency and product quality.
- Carry out routine inspections, calibrations and safety checks.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Support planned shutdowns and provide occasional weekend and bank holiday cover when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- An engineering qualification in an electrical or mechanical discipline (apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support additional shifts and overtime when needed.
Experience within the packaging or FMCG sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
