Are you a skilled Robotics Engineer looking for a role where you can challenge yourself by working on cutting edge industrial automation projects? We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in robotic programming to join a leading engineering team.
What You’ll Be Doing as Robotics Engineer:
- Robotic Programming: Offline and online programming using STL, with experience in ABB RobotStudio, Kawasaki K-ROSET, and/or Fanuc RoboGuide.
- HMI Development: Designing and implementing teach pendant screens.
- Onsite Commissioning: Working on industrial automation projects, including conveyor control, machine interfaces, safety controllers, and motor control.
- Industrial Networks: Strong understanding of Profinet and Ethernet-based communication systems.
- Project Delivery: Managing projects onsite in collaboration with project managers and technical leads.
- Software Development & Testing: Developing and refining bespoke software solutions, including safety software aligned with BS-EN13849.
- Field Support: Providing 2nd-line support for diagnosing and resolving system issues, both remotely and onsite.
The right Robotics Engineer for us will have:
- Experience: Proven background in robotics programming and industry experience in warehousing, logistics or industrial automation.
- Qualifications: Level 4 qualification in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work onsite across the UK (50% onsite, 50% office-based). Travel and accommodation covered where necessary.
- Communication Skills: Ability to provide technical analysis and clear reports.
- Driving License: Full UK license with no more than 3 penalty points.
