Are you a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a better work-life balance? We are recruiting for a well-established packaging manufacturer in Winsford, offering a permanent days role with a 4-day working week. This is a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in keeping production running efficiently across multiple filling lines. We are looking for someone with a strong electrical bias who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working as part of a close-knit engineering team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of production equipment, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. This is a reactive, hands-on position where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
- Electrical and mechanical repairs on a variety of manufacturing equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
- Working closely with production to minimise downtime and maximise output.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
