We’re recruiting an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer to join a long-established precision engineering business on the Wirral. You’ll join a close-knit team of skilled, time-served engineers working on varied precision components for industries including nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical. This is a stable business with exceptional staff retention, with a number of engineers having spent decades with the company. The opportunity has arisen due to retirement rather than staff turnover.
The role:
- Setting, operating and programming a Hurco CNC lathe
- Working from engineering drawings
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Varied work – no two days are quite the same
- On-site Hurco training provided
What we’re looking for:
- CNC turning experience
- Programming experience
- Confident reading engineering drawings
- Able to work accurately to tight tolerances
Hours: 38 per week Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm Friday: 8:00am–2:30pm
