Mechanical Bias Shift Engineer – Manufacturing Salary: £60,000 + benefits Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Bias Shift Engineer to join a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing business following significant investment in its production facilities. This is a hands-on role, focused on reactive maintenance, fault-finding and improving the reliability of automated production and packaging equipment. The Role: * Carry out reactive maintenance across automated production lines. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime. * Support ongoing improvements in equipment reliability and efficiency. * Work with a variety of machinery, including conveyors, packaging equipment, cutters, slicers and automated systems. The Ideal Candidate: * Strong mechanical engineering background within manufacturing or production. * Experienced in reactive maintenance and fault-finding. * Comfortable working with automated machinery and production equipment. * A proactive engineer with a continuous improvement mindset.
