Due to continued project growth and increasing client demand, we are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join a highly collaborative team based in Newcastle.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Salesforce transformation programmes, delivering innovative solutions for a range of well-known clients across multiple industries.
The Role
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality Salesforce solutions that drive business value for clients. Working closely with Architects, Consultants, Business Analysts, and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering scalable and robust applications across the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
- Configure and customise Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in technical design sessions and architecture discussions.
- Perform code reviews and promote development best practices.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal development processes and standards.
- Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the right to obtain clearance, have a suitable UK residency history (typically 5 years), and be willing to undergo pre-employment screening and vetting. Eligibility to meet these requirements is essential for this position.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce platform development.
- Experience working with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
- Understanding of Salesforce declarative tools, including Flows and automation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
- Previous experience within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with MuleSoft or other integration technologies.
