As a Senior Engineering Geologist, you’ll play a pivotal role in every stage of the project from inception to completion, from managing clients and subcontractors, being on-site working with our team to complete testing and supervising, and managing site investigation or working in the office to analyse data and complete accurate interpretive reports. You will be working within a supportive and collaborative team across a wide range of geological settings and ground hazards, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across Scotland.

  • Log soils and rocks to BS standards
  • Liaise and manage clients, subcontractors, and internal teams supporting our senior leaders to ensure our jobs run smoothly
  • Keep detailed site records, complete RAMS, and manage H&S documentation
  • Report writing and data interpretation skills
  • Take ownership of site activities, with strong support from experienced mentors as well as mentoring graduates
  • Maintain accurate site records, logs, and daily reports
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with specifications, standards, and method statements
  • Data processing and report preparation as required

Enthusiastic engineering technicians who:

  • Have a relevant degree in geology, engineering or similar
  • 4+ Years in ground investigations
  • Thrive on working outdoors, independently and in teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of safe working and SHEQ Culture
  • Have a full UK driving licence and are happy to travel/stay away as needed
  • Experience of direct exposure to site works, decision making, risk assessment, basic design and implementation of projects

You may also have:

  • CSCS Card, First Aid, EUSR HSG47 CAT 1 & 2
  • Awareness of environmental legislation or industry H&S best practices
  • Desire to work towards a relevant chartership
