As a Senior Engineering Geologist, you’ll play a pivotal role in every stage of the project from inception to completion, managing clients and subcontractors, being on-site working with our team to complete testing and supervising, and managing site investigation or working in the office to analyse data and complete accurate interpretive reports.
You will be working within a supportive and collaborative team across a wide range of geological settings and ground hazards, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across Scotland. In this role, you’ll be able to develop your engineering and geology skills, whether that be going for a professional chartership or accreditation or moving into managing large projects and teams.
This role offers a mixture of office and site-based work based around Scotland where no two weeks are the same.
Our dynamic team delivers projects of all shapes and sizes — from major infrastructure schemes to local commercial and residential developments — giving you the chance to broaden your experience and develop your skills.
- Manage intrusive investigations (e.g. drilling, sampling, in-situ testing)
- Liaise and manage clients, subcontractors, and internal teams supporting our senior leaders to ensure our jobs run smoothly
- Report writing and data interpretation skills
- Data processing and report preparation as required
Enthusiastic engineering technicians who:
- Have a relevant degree in geology, engineering or similar
- Thrive on working outdoors, independently and in teams
- Knowledge and understanding of safe working and SHEQ Culture
- Have a full UK driving licence and are happy to travel/stay away as needed
- Experience of direct exposure to site works, decision making, risk assessment, basic design and implementation of projects
