Marketing Manager – B2B Events & Communities

London, UK (Hybrid)

The company i've partnered with is a fast‑growing, marketing‑led B2B events business. The teams are ambitious, collaborative and driven by shared values — ownership, empathy, teamwork, integrity and determination. Employees are empowered to grow, shape their own path and make a meaningful impact.

The company is now looking for a Marketing Manager to help develop and deliver high‑performing marketing strategies for one of its largest UK‑based B2B technology portfolios.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with Senior Marketing Managers, Group Marketing and Event Leadership to shape marketing strategy, positioning and key messaging
  • Executing multi‑channel marketing campaigns and reporting on performance
  • Partnering closely with Sales to create campaigns that drive new business, retention and revenue across digital and sponsorship products
  • Leading audience development plans and owning customer‑facing messaging and copywriting
  • Collaborating with partners to deliver lead‑generation campaigns and compelling marketing materials
  • Ensuring all marketing output is aligned, consistent and approved by relevant stakeholders
  • Reviewing KPIs, audience insights and industry trends to optimise campaign performance
  • Managing and optimising paid media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Working with PR partners to maximise brand visibility and media presence
  • Overseeing community‑building and social media strategies to drive engagement and brand affinity
  • Managing data, segmentation and CRM activity with support from BI and data teams
  • Providing accurate reporting, forecasts and marketing insights
  • Managing budgets, POs and finance processes
  • Leading the full visitor registration journey and contributing to attendee revenue strategy

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent writing skills, especially for technology‑focused audiences
  • Ability to produce creative, insight‑led marketing plans
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Experience with CRM, CMS, email marketing and automation tools
  • Understanding of data protection and compliance in marketing
  • Ability to identify relevant search terms and segmentation criteria
  • Experience delivering digital marketing campaigns and using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Flexibility around peak event periods
  • Experience contributing to marketing plans and managing direct reports

What you can expect

  • The opportunity to develop your skills across the full marketing mix
  • A genuinely marketing‑led environment where your ideas matter
  • Clear career progression in a rapidly growing organisation
  • Competitive salary and performance‑related bonus
