Marketing Manager – B2B Events & Communities

The company is now looking for a Marketing Manager to help develop and deliver high‑performing marketing strategies for one of its largest UK‑based B2B technology portfolios.
What you’ll be doing
- Working with Senior Marketing Managers, Group Marketing and Event Leadership to shape marketing strategy, positioning and key messaging
- Executing multi‑channel marketing campaigns and reporting on performance
- Partnering closely with Sales to create campaigns that drive new business, retention and revenue across digital and sponsorship products
- Leading audience development plans and owning customer‑facing messaging and copywriting
- Collaborating with partners to deliver lead‑generation campaigns and compelling marketing materials
- Ensuring all marketing output is aligned, consistent and approved by relevant stakeholders
- Reviewing KPIs, audience insights and industry trends to optimise campaign performance
- Managing and optimising paid media campaigns across multiple platforms
- Working with PR partners to maximise brand visibility and media presence
- Overseeing community‑building and social media strategies to drive engagement and brand affinity
- Managing data, segmentation and CRM activity with support from BI and data teams
- Providing accurate reporting, forecasts and marketing insights
- Managing budgets, POs and finance processes
- Leading the full visitor registration journey and contributing to attendee revenue strategy
What you’ll bring
- Excellent writing skills, especially for technology‑focused audiences
- Ability to produce creative, insight‑led marketing plans
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
- Experience with CRM, CMS, email marketing and automation tools
- Understanding of data protection and compliance in marketing
- Ability to identify relevant search terms and segmentation criteria
- Experience delivering digital marketing campaigns and using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Flexibility around peak event periods
- Experience contributing to marketing plans and managing direct reports
