We’re looking for a confident, organised and experienced Marketing Manager to take ownership of a major B2B events portfolio on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a high‑impact role leading the full marketing strategy for two large UK events, including a flagship show with thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, love building multi‑channel campaigns, and want to work with a supportive, collaborative team — this is a fantastic opportunity.

What You’ll Lead

  • You’ll manage end‑to‑end marketing campaigns for two UK events (one flagship), including:
    • Full campaign ownership across email, digital, social, web, print and partnerships
    • Audience development, registration growth and seniority targeting
    • Multi‑channel messaging, copywriting and content planning
    • Collaboration with internal teams (content, sales, digital, data)
    • Managing relationships with key industry partners
    • Optional line management of a Marketing Assistant
  • You’ll also run a second, smaller co‑located campaign with its own website, registration and messaging — giving you full visibility across multiple products.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of Marketing Manager experience within Events (or equivalent level)
  • Strong background in exhibition or event marketing
  • Confident campaign planner who can hit the ground running
  • Excellent copywriting skills across email, web, social and print
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/automation platforms
  • Highly organised, deadline‑driven and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Calm communicator who works well with partners and stakeholders
  • Someone who enjoys autonomy but isn’t afraid to ask for support when needed
  • Will consider B2C but must have strong events marketing experience (exhibitions)

The Team & Culture

You’ll join a friendly, hardworking and supportive marketing team with:

  • A strong Marketing Assistant (soon progressing to Marketing Executive)
  • A Senior Marketing Executive with deep sector knowledge
  • Central digital/data support for paid ads, systems and processes

Your manager is collaborative, non‑micromanaging and focused on helping you succeed. The wider business is fast‑paced, energetic and known for its award‑winning marketing.

Salary & Benefits

  • Performance bonus tied to clear, structured KPIs
  • 3 days in the office (Mon essential; Tues/Wed flexible), 2 days WFH
  • Travel to UK event locations as required

Start Date

  • Ideally late August or early September for handover
  • Latest start: October
  • Full handover provided

The organisation is growing and evolving, so always a possibility for a perm role to open up.
