We’re on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end bid process, securing new business opportunities within the construction, data centre, and commercial property sectors. If you’re a strategic thinker with a strong grasp of technology services and solutions, as well as a knack for crafting high-quality, compelling proposals, this role is for you!
What You'll Do:
- Drive the entire bid lifecycle—from planning and preparation to submission and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure each proposal is competitive, de-risked, and aligned with client expectations.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to enhance strategies and improve success rates.
- Manage a repository of bid materials and templates to streamline processes.
- Lead high-quality submissions that deliver on time and meet compliance standards.
Who We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in managing bids for technology or professional services.
- Strong knowledge of the construction, data centre, or commercial property sectors.
- Expertise in IT services, including networks, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Exceptional project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while keeping your knowledge fresh and up to date, including bid lifecycle, RFPs, RFQs, and tender submissions.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in IT and construction sectors.
- Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in IT and construction projects.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work on multiple bids.
- Ability to analyse bid requirements, evaluate risks, and develop effective bid strategies.
