We are recruiting for an experienced Civil Engineer (graduate + 3 plus) with a focus on flood risk assessments and underground drainage design. This role suits someone with solid technical expertise who enjoys working collaboratively on a diverse range of infrastructure projects. You will be involved in producing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and designing sustainable drainage systems (SUDS) for a range of developments. You’ll be supported in progressing towards chartership if not already on that path.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports.
- Design surface water and foul water drainage systems.
- Contribute to flood alleviation and coastal erosion schemes.
- Collaborate with planners, architects, and other engineers.
- Experience in a similar consultancy role.
- Working knowledge of SUDS, attenuation systems, and infiltration design.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and InfoDrainage design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
