Description
A leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced Product Development & Strategy professional to join their growing team focusing on democratising private assets across global markets. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable firm in an exciting phase of expansion into new sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research into the competitor landscape to benchmark existing funds and originate ideas for new launches regarding pricing, regulatory changes, and future growth alignment.
- Liaise with multiple internal stakeholders to design, launch, close & merge new and existing funds (Legal, Tax, Compliance, Risk etc.) and establish a client product literature and marketing strategy (Sales, Marketing, Client Services).
- Manage product pipeline content and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure this is communicated efficiently across teams.
- Act as the SME on the firm’s alternatives platform, taking questions from stakeholders and constantly monitoring new trends and potential offerings.
Candidate Profile:
- 5 – 8 years’ professional experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a product development/strategy function in an asset manager/alternatives asset manager/investment bank.
- Knowledge of the retail market, with a clear understanding of trends and investor needs.
- Experienced across closed-end, open-end, and evergreen structures.
- Strong knowledge of the Private Credit market is highly desirable.
- CFA is highly desirable.
