Sustainability Specialist - Climate | London, UK

Our client, a global asset management firm, is looking to recruit a Sustainability Specialist to focus on climate change and environmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with investment teams to effectively integrate climate, nature, and other environmental themes into investment decision-making.
• Engage with portfolio companies on climate and environmental issues.
• Provide research and insights to help support investment decisions.
• Contribute to firmwide content and strategy on environmental and climate change issues.
• Represent the firm across a range of environmental/sustainability-related industry bodies and initiatives.
• Actively participate in client engagement.
• Assist in developing investment products and strategies aligned with climate and nature objectives.

Candidate requirements

• 7-10 years of work experience in ESG/sustainability investment analysis with expertise in climate change and environmental issues.
• Passion for sustainable and ESG investing.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven experience building data models for climate integration and scenario analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Collaborative approach to work.
