Our client is an independent investment management firm, looking to recruit a new Sustainability Communications Manager to join their team. The role involves supporting the Head of Sustainability to help structure and enhance their reputation as a responsible investor and business.
Key responsibilities:
- Support in the development and oversight of communications content and strategic marketing campaigns relating to sustainability.
- Developing and implementing a market and communication strategy relating to their responsible business approach.
- Working with the sales support team to effectively deliver written responses to industry surveys, RFPs, RFIs, client queries etc.
- Working with the marketing team to ensure content and insight is made available when required.
- Keeping up to date with emerging themes in responsible investment and the activities of peers.
- Contributing to the business’s responsible investment and sustainability activities.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a communications/marketing position within asset management.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to responsible investment disclosures.
- Understanding of responsible investment themes with the ability to develop a related content pipeline to meet evolving client and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to tailor content towards relevant markets/channels e.g., social media, digital marketing and editorial.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
