A leading global asset management firm is seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to join their client management team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse range of institutional and advisory clients, overseeing the full client lifecycle from mandate implementation and onboarding through to ongoing relationship management and servicing. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced client services professional who enjoys managing sophisticated client relationships, leading onboarding projects and acting as a trusted partner to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary relationship contact for institutional and advisory clients across a range of investment mandates and pooled investment vehicles.
- Manage client enquiries relating to investment strategies, portfolio activity, reporting, operational matters and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the onboarding and implementation of new client mandates, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from mandate award through to investment.
- Manage complex account structures and bespoke client requirements, ensuring accurate setup and operational readiness.
- Oversee portfolio transitions and mandate changes, ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned throughout the process.
- Coordinate and support the negotiation, implementation and ongoing management of Investment Management Agreements.
- Ensure investment guidelines, client restrictions and regulatory requirements are accurately documented and implemented.
- Provide ongoing support to Investment teams in relation to client-specific requirements, mandate changes and operational considerations.
- Partner with product teams to support the development, enhancement and ongoing management of investment products.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, process improvements and operational efficiencies across the business.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a client services or similar function at an asset management firm.
- Experience working with a broad range of clients including institutional, advisory, consultant or strategic client relationships.
- Experience overseeing client onboarding, implementation, account transitions and ongoing servicing.
- Strong understanding of investment products across fixed income, equities and pooled investment vehicles.
- Knowledge of Investment Management Agreements.
- Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness combined with a client-centric mindset.
