Job Description
A boutique placement agent is looking to build out their team with the addition of a seasoned Sales Director with a track record in fundraising for private credit and private equity. With connections to the best private capital funds out there, they are looking for someone with high-quality, strong relationships with institutional investors.
A fast-growing placement agency is now looking to build out their Sales team with the addition of a strong Sales candidate with extensive experience in fundraising for private capital. This firm has an exceptional network with some of the best private markets funds and is now looking for quality investors and relationships to build on their existing success.
You will be responsible for identifying and retaining relationships with institutional clients. This includes:
- Driving sales and growth for the firm, independently generating business across a broad range of credible investor types regardless of region.
- Able to take ownership and autonomy, successfully raising capital and retaining investors.
- Proven, quality, and long-term relationships with institutional and family office investors.
- Managing the Sales pipeline effectively, regularly cross-selling, and identifying new opportunities to raise capital.
- Independently execute the Sales priorities and activities, including leveraging existing networks to raise capital across a variety of alternatives funds.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong primary relationships across Europe, Middle East, and Asia focused on institutional investors and/or family offices.
- A demonstrated track record in fundraising in the alternatives space, at least 10 years of industry experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of private equity and private debt funds.
- A background in a placement agency or alternatives firm is highly advantageous.
