Description

A leading global asset manager is seeking a Senior Product Research & Structuring Specialist to join their growing alternatives team focusing on democratising private assets across global markets. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable firm in an exciting phase of expansion into new distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research into the competitor landscape to benchmark existing funds and originate ideas for new launches, including pricing, regulatory changes, and future growth alignment.
2. Liaise with multiple internal stakeholders to design, launch, close & merge new and existing funds [Legal, Tax, Compliance, Risk etc.] and establish a client product literature and marketing strategy [Sales, Marketing, Client Services].
3. Assist to define the structuring of private and registered products.
4. Manage product pipeline content and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure this is communicated efficiently across teams.
5. Act as the SME on the firm’s alternatives platform, taking questions from stakeholders and constantly monitoring new trends and potential offerings.

Candidate Profile:

1. 8 – 12 years’ minimum professional experience with at least 4 years’ experience in a product development/strategy function in an asset manager/alternatives asset manager/investment bank/fintech.
2. Understanding of closed-ended, open-end and evergreen structures.
3. Knowledge of the institutional, retail and insurance market, with a clear understanding of trends and investor needs.
4. Strong knowledge of the Private Credit market is highly desirable.
5. Experience with ELTIFs & LTAFs is highly desirable.
6. CFA/CAIA is highly desirable.
