Description
Our client is a global investment management house. Due to a continued busy period, they are now looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their high performing Global Product team.
Focusing on matters related to SFDR and Taxonomy , the Senior Product Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Leading on matters such as investment policy changes, fee changes, guideline and dealing term changes, new share class features and regulatory driven changes.
- Aid in drafting amendments to the offering documentation and seeking approval through relevant governance forums.
- Regulatory Change (with a focus on SFDR and Taxonomy).
- Act as the point person for the product team regarding upcoming regulations that impact regulated Funds.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of upcoming relevant regulations.
- Maintain a good understanding of SFDR, including Fund specific E/S characteristics and the distinctions made between Article 6, 8, and 9 Funds.
- Ensuring Prospectus amendments and other disclosure requirements are reflected across related supporting documentation.
- Ensure the reporting to the Regulator (AIF reporting, Annual Fund Profile reviews, SRD II) is done in a timely manner.
- Lead on ad hoc projects related to product governance.
The Senior Product Manager will meet the following criteria:
- Working knowledge of SFDR and/or taxonomy.
- Experience within a global investment management house (this role covers international product).
- Knowledge across different fund vehicles, including SICAVs and OEICs.
- Familiarity with fund regulations and change.
- Background within in-house legal or product governance within an international investment management house.
- Strong academics and/or industry specific qualifications such as CFA.
