One of the world’s leading investment management firms is looking for a Senior Media Relations Manager to join their team based in London on a permanent basis.

The core focus of the role is media relations and PR strategy management. We are looking for a forward-thinking, confident candidate that can think innovatively about company growth and deliver a fully integrated PR function to the business.

Key accountabilities include:

  1. Be the interface between the firm and the media in all forms across regions.
  2. Promote the brand, key events, and products appropriately to the media in a responsible way.
  3. Leverage the messages agreed by global marketing as part of the global commercial agenda.
  4. Create initiatives and operate at the highest standard of excellence.
  5. Facilitate strong relationships both internally and with external stakeholders, including agencies and journalists.
  6. Have the ability to work with a number of different senior stakeholders in locations around the world.
  7. Must demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to push boundaries; must be willing to operate under own initiative.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of industry experience in an External Communications/PR role within an investment management firm. A background in a PR agency is ideal. Experience dealing with board-level stakeholders is key and the ability to influence at all levels.
