Our client is a London-based Single-Family Office who are seeking to hire an experienced Manager Research Analyst to join the investment team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Chief Investment Officer and play a key role in the investment decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fund research and analysis to identify, evaluate and recommend investment funds across a diverse range of asset classes, with a primary focus on public markets.
- Lead investment due diligence process, including benchmarking external funds and evaluating fund structures to determine suitability for the portfolio.
- Deliver data-driven investment recommendations and insights to support investment decisions.
- Proactively monitor emerging investment themes to uncover new opportunities.
- Track market developments and portfolio risks to provide actionable investment insights.
- Support the CIO in portfolio management and strategic asset allocation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in similar manager research/fund selection role at an asset management firm or family office.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and alternative asset classes.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience using tools such as Bloomberg and Morningstar.
- CFA qualification or equivalent would be desirable.
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious and comfortable working independently.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically about market trends.
