Our client is a boutique investment management house with an established track record. Due to continued business success, they are now looking to recruit a Proposal Writer. Reporting directly to the Head of Client Services, the Proposal Writer will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Create high quality RFPs, RFIs and DDQs.
- Treat each RFP as a project with you as the project manager whilst liaising with the associated Client Service Executive and Investment Specialist/sponsor for input and sign-off.
- Use and support the maintenance of content on the RFP content database with new and improved content.
- Support the Investment Specialist and Client Service Team with initiatives and projects where appropriate.
- Work closely with stakeholders in different functions, including Investment Specialists, Investment Analysts, Client Services, Compliance, Operations, Risk and Performance.
- Develop relationships with the Client Services team and across all other departments.
The Proposal Writer will meet the following skillset:
- Degree educated, IMC or equivalent is desired.
- Experience in Asset Management and knowledge of investment process and concepts.
- Knowledge of ESG and ability to communicate ESG philosophy and processes.
- Detailed knowledge of RFPs, RFI, DDQ and related client documents.
- Understanding of investment products, global markets and client requirements.
- Strong communication skills including presentations, oral discussion and investment writing.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Project and change management skills with ability to identify improvements.
- Highly organised self-starter who flourishes in a high-volume environment and works well under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strives for continuous improvement.
