Description

Our client, a leading investment manager, is looking to recruit an experienced Product Strategy & Development Associate Director to join their established team based in London.

The successful candidate will manage the development and design of market leading, competitively differentiated and compliant products and propositions across Institutional funds.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Manage the delivery of an AUM and revenue generating product proposition strategy that ensures the needs and expectations of identified customer groups are met.
  2. Handle the design and delivery of product initiatives to agreed timescales and budgets.
  3. Maintain a strong awareness of relevant market activity and work closely with product team colleagues to develop specific visions and strategies that contribute to the future strategic direction of the business.
  4. Manage the definition, development and delivery of a strategy to ensure products are launched and maintained according to the Product Development Model and the Product Lifecycle Management framework.
  5. Provide technical expertise to internal stakeholders about product structures and processes.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Degree educated.
  2. IMC, CFA or similar qualification is preferable.
  3. 3+ years experience in a similar role.
  4. Advanced Project Management experience.
  5. Knowledge of product and proposition design as well as a technical knowledge of pooled product structures including UCITS and non-UCITS structures.
  6. International asset management industry knowledge with extensive knowledge of investment products.
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
