Description
Our client, an established single-family office has an exciting opportunity to join their growing private equity team covering funds, co-investments and direct investments.
The family office invests across a diverse range of public and private investments, including listed equities, private equity and real estate. This role will be primarily responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and monitoring existing investments.
Responsibilities:
- Research new fund and direct investment opportunities across a broad range of sectors and geographies
- Monitor current investment deals and portfolios
- Contribute to due diligence of live investments activities and investment committee papers
- Conduct broad industry and thematic research to help develop an understanding of relevant trends and risks to help direct investment activity
- Build financial models across existing and prospective investments
- Prepare investment recommendations for presentation to the investment committee
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation
Candidate Requirements:
- 2-4 years’ experience in an analytical role within a finance or investment environment
- Exposure to, or understanding of the private equity industry
- Studying for CFA or Accountancy qualifications
- Degree level education
- Demonstrable experience of building and adapting detailed financial models
- Strong attention to detail and a critical mindset
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
