Portfolio Analyst - Fixed Income

A leading global asset manager is currently recruiting for a Portfolio Analyst to join their team based in London. This role sits within the Front Office working alongside the Portfolio Managers providing attribution and ad-hoc analysis across fixed income and multi-asset strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform investment attribution and ad-hoc analysis for fixed income and multi-asset strategies
• Build and enhance key analytical tools and attribution models using Python, VBA and SQL
• Actively contribute in regular meetings with Portfolio Managers providing insightful analytical output
• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders
• Keep up to date with market changes and investment industry

The successful candidate will have:

• 3-5 years’ experience in an analytical/quantitative role at an asset manager, investment bank or consultancy
• Working knowledge of fixed income instruments
• Excellent academic record; STEM subjects highly desirable
• Programming experience in Python
• Experience working with VBA and SQL is desirable
• Proactive and effective approach
