Our client is a leading top tier Investment Management firm, who are looking to hire a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join their investment team. Due to past years of over-performance, the client is seeking to increase the Multi-Asset investment desk, with an individual who would be responsible for assisting the fund managers in the day-to-day management of portfolios. This role is a fantastic opportunity to directly work alongside the Portfolio Managers, supporting them as well as executing their decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of portfolios; check cash balance daily, inform Portfolio Managers of any trades required to resolve cash balance.
- Attend Investment meetings with the objective of writing a monthly update on strategy and investment views.
- Assist in ad-hoc research projects.
- Monitor performance and conduct risk analysis.
- Maintain data on asset allocation history of portfolios.
Candidate Profile:
- 1-2 years of industry experience.
- Degree Educated; Preferably in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Show an interest in investment management and financial markets.
- A strong sense of initiative and flexibility coupled with a well-developed collaborative spirit.
- Be prepared to learn and develop skills as the opportunity arises.
- Good numeric skills and an attention to detail.
- Able to communicate effectively to both internal and external clients.
- Be a team player that is prepared to help drive investment performance and develop business.
