An exciting opportunity to join a growing Alternatives investment team. The purpose of this role is to research funds and source investment ideas from a broad alternatives investment universe including private markets, hedge funds and alternative risk premia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research managers, funds and the markets in which they operate to generate investment ideas
- Proactively source new ideas and map the alternatives market
- Produce on-going investment and operational due diligence on managers
- Present research and analysis to the wider investment team
Ideal Profile:
- 3-7 years relevant manager research experience at an asset manager or investment consultancy
- Prior experience analysing funds within the alternatives space
- Strong academic background
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ideally CFA or CAIA qualification
- Highly numerate with an analytical approach
