Our client, an industry leading investment firm, is looking for a Trade Operations Analyst to join their Global Trade team. The team collaborates with several departments across the company, and the primary focus of this position will be to make sure that the communication and settlements of trades are accurate and timely. This role is a 12-month, fixed term contract with the possibility of going permanent depending on headcount.
Key Responsibilities:
- SME and escalation point for global trade issues and discrepancies outside of the US.
- Research and resolve trade and FX discrepancies, working closely with brokers, banks and internal teams.
- Ensure accuracy of trade executions and allocations across asset classes.
- Research and evaluate operational requirements of new markets and asset types being considered for investment, as well as monitoring any changes to current markets.
- Manage strategic projects, prioritising information technology needs and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a Trade Operations role on Buy or Sell side.
- Understanding and interest in Fixed Income, FX and Equity markets.
- Relevant professional qualification (IMC or CFA) achieved or working towards preferred.
- Existing knowledge of trading systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
