A leading global asset management firm is seeking a Credit Research Analyst to join their Global Credit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a global unconstrained credit strategy, conducting detailed analysis across the corporate credit spectrum and contributing directly to investment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fundamental credit analysis on corporate issuers across a diverse range of sectors
- Generate and present relative value investment recommendations to Portfolio Managers
- Build and maintain financial models, prepare investment theses and draft credit notes
- Interpret sector and issuer-level insights to inform investment decisions
- Provide portfolio managers with timely updates on market liquidity, industry developments and regulatory changes that may affect issuer credit quality and pricing
- Take an active role in investment decision-making process and share own perspectives in credit investment team meetings
Candidate Profile:
- 3-7 years of experience in corporate credit research, gained at a respected buy-side or sell-side firm
- Strong understanding different credit products and markets
- Excellent academic credentials
- Technical skills such as coding (Python, VBA or similar) is beneficial, though not essential
- Excellent analytical skills and the capacity to process and interpret complex information quickly
- Clarity and conviction in expressing informed opinions
- Collaborative, client-oriented mindset
