An established investment management firm is seeking an Investment Data Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to enhance investment decision-making and fund oversight by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of investment and fund data, with exposure to global data flows, operational complexity, and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for complex investment data inquiries across IMG and enterprise teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain and enhance the integrity of investment and fund data.
- Execute complex daily and ad hoc tasks under tight deadlines, balancing multiple priorities.
- Escalate and resolve complex portfolio and data-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong global networks across US, APAC, and EMEA teams.
- Identify and influence optimal investment data flows and support process improvement initiatives.
- Set up new issuer bonds in Aladdin using Bloomberg data.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach less experienced team members to strengthen overall team capabilities.
Required Experience & Skills
- Hands-on experience with Aladdin and Bloomberg platforms.
- Strong understanding of global fixed income markets.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and process automation.
- Operational experience, including incident detection and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with the investment lifecycle and risk controls.
- Ability to monitor market events and assess their impact on investment operations.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in fund operations or investment data roles.
- CFA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
